Undergraduate honors defenses

Two of our undergraduates, Crystal Wang and Maia Yang, defended their theses this week! Both of them received highest honors. These are the first two honors students from our lab and they have set a high bar for future undergrads!

Crystal’s thesis project investigated which neurons in the sugar taste pathway are involved in modulating future feeding responses.

Maia’s thesis work characterized how aversive taste experiences modulate future feeding behaviors.

Congratulations and good luck to Crystal and Maia, who are graduating this month and moving on to bigger and better things!
