First NIH grant!

We’re super excited that our lab has received its first federal funding, a five-year R01 from the NIH (via NIDCD)! This grant will fund our project investigating how taste projection neurons encode sensory information and drive behavioral responses. The project will involve calcium imaging, optogenetics, behavior, and computational modeling.

We need people to help us do the science! We’re actively seeking PhD students and postdocs, and we may have an opening for a technician or postbac next year. Learn more about joining the lab here.
